FIDDLER ON THE ROOF
CALLBACK LIST & INFORMATION
Thank you to each of you who has auditioned for Trumbull Community Theatre’s fall 2026 production of Fiddler on the Roof. We appreciate your willingness to share your time and talents with us.
EVERYONE WHO AUDITIONED WILL BE CAST IN THE SHOW.
Below is the list of actors we would like to see more from at callbacks on Sunday, September 27, 2026 from 3 - 7 pm. As noted above, even if your name is not on this list, you will be cast in the show.
If you are listed for callbacks, please be ready to start 3 and stay until 7. It is a long, busy day, and your patience and presence is required. Production staff and all actors will be in the room during this process. Bringing a water bottle and light snack is recommended. When possible, we will release those who are no longer needed. Children called back for the roles of Shprintze and Bielke please arrive by 5 pm.
Please come prepared. You will have sides and music in hand. This is not a memorization contest. To that end, print out sides and music. Reading off tablets and phones is not permitted.
As mentioned on the audition notice, please show us what you will bring to these characters, not what you think we want to see. No accents. For those called back for Tevye, Golde, and Yente, we are looking for real people, not caricatures.
Lastly, many of you will be asked to prepare multiple characters. Please be advised that, due to a myriad of factors, you may not be asked to actually read and/or sing for each of these characters at callbacks.
